Episode 2. Getting around: Mobility as a Service (MaaS)

Mobility as a service (MaaS) is a technology and transport concept that has been around for a few years now, yet still feels brand new. It's often positioned as a genuine alternative to car ownership, its meant to help reduce congestion and help us all get around more easily. Yet despite a number of successful implementations abroad, it has yet to really take off here in the UK.

Neil McClure asked Beate Kubitz - independent transport consultant and MaaS expert - what is MaaS, how it will get us all out of our cars, and what the future looks like.
