Customer Information Innovation Event
A half-day data innovation event bringing together local transport authorities across the North of England with some of the world' leading digital transport service providers and open data consumers. his event is an opportunity for both local transport authorities and developers to explore opportunities for collaborative partnerships.
Open data powers many of the most popular digital transport services, providing information to thousands/millions of users. Much of this open data comes from local transport authorities, namely timetables and real time bus information. As part of Transport for the North's Integrated and Smart Travel programme, local transport authorities in the North could also soon be publishing fares and disruption data as well.
This creates the potential for local transport authorities and developers to work together to address some of the challenges faced on a local and national scale.
